Event Description:

We will start with worker classification: employee vs independent contractor,. We will cover employer compliance requirements for hiring, record keeping, and posted information. We then move to wage discussions, including types of employees, paycheck preparation, employer and employee tax deposits, and penalties. The manual will include sample forms and sources of both federal and state requirements.
