Sean Manning is the owner of Manning & Company, P.C., an accounting, tax service and CPA advisory firm in Littleton, Colorado. Majority Partner of Payroll Vault, an independent payroll service company in Littleton, Colorado. Partner and CEO of Payroll Vault Franchising LLC, a payroll service franchise opportunity for future business owners. Partner, board member and accountant for Cellar Angels, a unique online wine store that also supports a wide range of national charities headquartered in Chicago Illinois and Co-Author of the book; Six Steps to Small Business Success. As President and Manager of Manning & Company, Sean’s primary role is to help lead the firm which focuses on services that include business accounting, tax planning, and tax preparation for business owners. Other services such as business owner exit planning strategies, business buy/sell agreements and retirement planning are also offered. Sean has helped hundreds of clients understand and maintain proper accounting and tax records for their small and medium-sized businesses. In 2008 Manning & Company was awarded the Innovative Accounting Firm of the Year due to its use of technology in web based software and paperless solutions for clients. In 2011 they were also nationally recognized when they were awarded Accounting Firm of the Year by the Professional Association of Small business Accountants. Sean also supports the management team of Payroll Vault on a daily basis. Payroll Vault continues to be a leader in the payroll industry in Denver but is also gaining recognition and client support nationally. Sean volunteered to serve on the board of the House of Rothschild in 2005-2006, a homeowner association. He was the 2003/2004 president of the Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (PASBA), as well as a board member from 1994-1998 and 2001-2005. And in 1997, Sean served on a finance committee by advising a private school in it’s investment of the Annunciation Endowment Fund. Sean currently continues to give back to business and the community by serving on a number of business committees and supporting the charity goals of Cellar Angels monthly. Sean has a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant Management from Colorado State University (1989). In 1995, he became a Certified Public Accountant after studying accounting at Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. Sean is an active member in a number of organizations, including PASBA, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
