Upon completion of this course you will be able to determine standards for employer educational assistance programs and scholarships, as well as define various terms outlined in the text. Designed to equip you with an overview of 529 Plans, you will be able to ascertain when they would be beneficial, as well as obtain a working knowledge of various prepaid college and tuition savings plans. Participants will become familiar with the FAFSA, Coverdell Education Savings, American Opportunity, and Lifetime Learning Credit programs. In addition to learning how to read an Options Table, this course will provide you with a valuable understanding of Student Loan Interest, Series EE Bonds, Traditional IRA’s, and Roth IRA’s.
