Upon completion of this course you will be able to identify the necessary qualifications of individuals for Medicare benefits, as well as determine when taxpayers should sign up for them. You will recognize the qualifications for Medicare Advantage Plans, and be able to have the discussion ‘When is Medicare Advantage not appropriate?’ Participants will have a greater understanding of the enrollment process, as it relates to enrollment time periods, penalties, and interactions with other insurance. You will receive an explanation of the Medigap Supplement Policies and Medicaid, in addition to being able to discuss the premiums, deductibles, and copays for Medicare Plans A, B, and D. This course will give you a basic understanding of the 4 types of medicare plans, including eligibility, cost per type for 2021, explanation of coverage, preventative services, source of funds, high income penalties, and much more!
